Reviewed and managed all delivery teams through peer reviews and field QA/coordination to ensure alignment with proforma/designs while also leading structural and civil efforts for over 500 pieces of structural steel, three (3) new asphalt parking lots and over 10,000 yards in civil improvements.
Avoided business interruption to building/occupants, while providing unparalleled leadership, regimented and routine communication and detailed reviews of drawings, submittals, installations and essential project management documentation.

Our team was challenged with balancing the amount of activity, while partnering with contractors, internal Design & Construction projects, local stakeholders and the various lines of business to deliver a clean, organized, efficient and successful cradle-to-grave project that serves at the forefront of client portfolio while establishing best-practices for similar flagship solar projects.
CBRE performed complete turnkey re-roofing project, while performing structural and roofing assembly peer reviews, to ensure readiness for rooftop solar array. Numerous design and construction QA/QC reviews enabled CBRE to lead efficient phasing of carport structures, delivering project on schedule and on budget. Cross-functional teaming, a robust communications plan and rigorous onsite program management resulted in delivery success for this project.
Challenge
Turnkey delivery of over 150,000 square feet of new 60mil TPO roof and act as Owner’s Representative for the 3,642 kWdc PV carport and rooftop project in Tempe, Arizona.
Solution
CBRE performed rigorous carbon accounting and proforma modelling led by CBRE analysts to help structure tax teams with appropriate rebates while maximizing incentives and Renewable Energy Credits.
Multiple due diligence efforts over 6-month period were done within the parcel to ensure clean administration related to the numerous speciality permits and civil engineering requirements necessary for a structural PV carport. CBRE’s structural engineering peer groups reviewed numerous foundation design options prior to value-engineering to provide the most efficient and applicable design.
Detailed project communication throughout the early lifecycle helped create template for balance of design and operation efforts. CBRE built procedures to ensure construction and operation teams are building safely, quickly and in accordance to approved design and building/site as-builts..
Challenge
Turnkey delivery of customized 3,279 kWdc PV carport.
Our team was challenged with deploying a cost-effective solution to support onsite GHG goals. Client needed to understand all scenarios to maximize cash flow across term. Site logistics and poor soil conditions required numerous permitting and environmental engineering challenges due to proximity to shore, existing contaminants and natural wetlands areas.
